CESKE BUDEJOVICE
Whoever goes from Prague to the south can’t miss this town. There are many historical sites and a beautiful atmosphere in the old town with its narrow streets bristling with antique shops. There is an interesting horse-drawn railway museum, as well as a motorcycle museum. And here of course is home of the original Budweiser Budvar brewery, producer of one of the most popular beers in the Czech Republic. This brewery is still bravely contesting the trademark of the mighty American Budweiser company.
